Extranatural
Extranatural organisms belong to the domain Neteroda. They are very distantly related to the rest of life on earth, only sharing the last universal common ancestor (LUCA): the organism from which all life evolved. Because of this separation, they are also quite different from the rest, and cannot be classifed as a plant, animal, etc. They are also less closely related to each other than is typical with the other domains of life. Extranatural organisms often have characteristics that seem to be biologically extrodinary, some of which we have yet to understand. This, combined with their genetic isolation, is why they are called "extranatural".
